Q: What’s your role within the organization?
A: I’m the overall manager of everything- partners, fund management, etc.
Q: What motivated you to start the Ink and Fold Project?
A: I really like the making and craft of intricate things, ranging from nylon and leather whips to small, delicate origami. It’s a passion of mine that I’m grateful to share to others.
Q: Most memorable moment since starting this project?
A: I once had a kid name his origami pet after me! He’d always wanted a pet but couldn’t have one due to his illness, and the fact that he named his new paper friend in honor of me was so sweet.
Jamie
Co-President, Head Executive of Operations
Austin, Texas
As Co-President and Head Executive, Jamie is the go-to for, well... pretty much everything. She keeps in touch with all our branches, checks in with the smaller teams, and is always on the lookout for cool new partnerships. She’s also the brains behind our marketing and keeps things running smoothly on the inside. Basically, if something awesome is happening, she probably had a hand in it.
Can you guess who wrote this blurb? :D
Q: What’s your role within the organization?
A: I like to keep in touch with all of our smaller branches and groups, and make sure everything internally is running smoothly. I also help with marketing, reaching out, and partnerships.
Q: What motivated you to join the Ink and Fold Project?
A: Origami is so pretty, isn’t it? No, but seriously, I love the message and the goals behind it. It’s something that gets me going in the morning.
Q: Most memorable moment since starting this project?
A: Someone once brought Costco rotisserie chickens to a branch meeting. That was so fun. Totally delicious too.
